    I sent you email very late on 31 August (and now I see that it was so late that it was actually 1 September). I just received the following notice:

    P.S. I was contemplating including "Holidays!" But alas, I didn't get around to talking about having to make adjustments with other people's ovens and flours. (One household didn't have any whole wheat flour!! And we didn't have time to get any so I actually made all white bread - something I haven't done in years. Another household had a small warming oven beside the main oven. I mistakenly preheated the small oven and then glibly put the shaped almost over-risen loaf onto the stone in the warmish oven beside the hot small oven and set the timer for 30 minutes. Luckily, about 5 minutes later, my 10-year-old niece noticed the mistake and saved the bread from being a complete and total disaster. )
